The Bellevue West Little League Skill Evaluation for all baseball players playing in AAA (first year player pitch), Coast and Majors is Saturday, February 4th.
The skill evaluation is in the gym at Bellevue College. You can find directions to Bellevue College, as well as the map of the campus at:
http://bellevuecollege.edu/about/gettinghere/maps
The Skill Evaluation schedule is:
| 8:00 - 8:30 | 12 year olds |
| 8:30 - 9:30 | 11 year olds |
| 9:30 - 10:30 | 10 year olds |
| 10:30 - 11:30 | 9 year olds & 8 year olds (playing player pitch only. Machine Pitch players DO NOT attend the skill eval) |
IMPORTANT - If your child is not able to attend during their scheduled age group time, please have them come at any time between 8am - 11:45.
Player age is based on how old they will be on 4/30/2012.
It is important that all players attend the skill evaluation. Data compiled from this is used for team selection to create balanced teams throughout our program. If your son is not able to attend this, please email Carolyn Janisch at cmjanisch5@gmail.com.
Please have your son dress in active wear and wear appropriate shoes (NO CLEATS). Players will need to bring their baseball glove, as well as their batting helmet and bat if they have them. We will have bats and helmets for those who do not bring their own.
If you have any questions about the skill evaluation or draft process, please email me at cmjanisch5@gmail.com.
- Registration for player pitch closes January 21st
- Registration for all other levels closes February 15th
Press the "MEMBER LOG IN" button to the left to begin the registration process.
Bellevue West provides hats, jerseys and socks for its players but additional gear can be purched online.
With all new logos and designs that you and your kids are going to love, Bellevue Little League has created an online portal where you can outfit your family's baseball player with all the gear that they will need for the upcoming season. Purchase hats to socks, pants to undershirts, you can even pick up a sweatshirt, all online.

The online store will be open for five weeks only. At the end of that time, we will order in bulk to get the best pricing and provide all gear to the coaches for distribution on the first day of practice.
The best part about the online store is that a portion of the proceeds from every item purchased will be contributed towards supporting Bellevue Little League.
Thank you to all who responded to our email asking for volunteers to help us run the BWLL baseball program. We still have several openings for the 2011 - 2012 Board:
- Vice President Juniors Baseball (13-14)
- Umpire Scheduler
Bellevue West Little League is a volunteer organization that provides a spring and summer baseball program for over 800 families. Many of our volunteers are not returning this year as their children are no longer little leaguers. We need YOU to make our 2011 - 2012 season a success. There are many different volunteer opportunities available - if you are interested in getting involved, we are sure one is a good fit for you.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact BWLL President Carl Hellings to discuss specific volunteer opportunities.
